As members of the body of Christ, we should remain focused on Christ, who is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

We are called to work for God’s kingdom on earth by obeying His commands, doing His will, and walking in His ways (Matthew 6:33; Deuteronomy 10:12).

We are to stay alert and watchful for Christ’s second coming, when He will return in the full glory of the Father, accompanied by the angels (Matthew 24:42; Matthew 25:31).

The birth, death, resurrection, and ascension of Christ—where He now sits at the right hand of the Father—have already been fulfilled before all nations (Luke 24:6–7; Acts 1:9–11; Acts 2:32–33).

The final promise yet to be fulfilled is the second coming of Christ, as foretold by the prophets and proclaimed by Christ Himself (Daniel 7:13–14; Matthew 24:30).

When this promise is fulfilled, all nations and all people will be still and acknowledge that God alone is the living God, and that salvation is found in His hand (Psalm 46:10; Acts 4:12).

His name will be praised, and every knee in heaven and on earth will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9–11).
