“If you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me.” – Jeremiah 29:13

The mistake we often make is believing that we must feel the presence of God for His Word to be true. But our emotions are not the measure of God’s faithfulness. We must take feelings out of the equation and stand on the unchanging truth of His Word.

God’s Word is eternal — a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). It remains true regardless of what we feel at any given moment. As Scripture says, “The heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment, but My salvation will last forever, and My righteousness will never fail.” (Isaiah 51:6).

As God’s dearly loved children, we are called not to question His Word, but to trust it completely — for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). Therefore, let us stand firm in His promises, knowing that the day of His return is near.

Just as a bird that wanders from its nest is like a person who strays from their home (Proverbs 27:8), our true home is under the shelter of God’s wings. “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” (Proverbs 18:10).

Our safest and most secure place is always in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He surrounds us with His peace and grace. Even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for the Lord is with us; His rod and His staff comfort us (Psalm 23:4).

Only in Christ do we find true joy, peace, grace, strength, and guidance. It is through our faith in Him that we are saved and able to overcome in times of trouble, affliction, and distress. God is with us always — our refuge and our strength (Psalm 46:1).

So let us rejoice in the Lord always and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18). May His praises never leave our lips as we thank Him daily for His unfailing love and salvation.

Let our hearts continue to rejoice in His saving grace, holding firmly to His promises. Through Christ, we overcome the attacks of the enemy and crucify our sinful desires daily, walking in the newness of life that His Spirit provides.

For we are no longer slaves to sin, but children of God — redeemed, strengthened, and sustained by His eternal Word.
