“In the time of my favor,  I will answer you, and in the day of salvation I will help you.”
—Isaiah 49:8 (NIV)

We are living in the days the Lord spoke of—when He promised to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. Our sons and daughters shall prophesy. Young men will see visions, and old men will dream dreams.

“I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”
—Joel 2:28 / Acts 2:17

He has promised to send rain upon the dry and thirsty land. Let the barren rejoice and shout for joy, for soon they will bear fruit—clusters of abundance. What once was desolate will become fruitful.

“I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.”
—Leviticus 26:4

These are the days when He declares, “I will be your God, and you shall be My people.”

Though two-thirds of the world may perish, the faithful one-third shall be refined through the fire of affliction—purified like gold and silver. He will purge us of every impurity.

God has promised:

“They shall be My people, and I will be their God.”
—Jeremiah 32:38

And though:

“Two-thirds shall be cut off and perish, but one-third shall be left… I will bring the one-third through the fire… and refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested.”
—Zechariah 13:8–9

In these days, when we pray, He will hear us. When we call, He will answer. He is faithful and true. Trust in Him completely, for He cannot fail.

In those days:

“They will call on my name and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”
—Zechariah 13:9

He has all power to fulfill what He has promised.

So put your complete trust in God.

“God is not human, that he should lie... Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”
—Numbers 23:19

Let us praise the Lord always, and may His praise never leave our lips.

He is faithful. He will not fail.

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
—Hebrews 10:23

Amen.
