"I have laid a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in Him will never be put to shame."
(1 Peter 2:6, Isaiah 28:16)
In the world around us and within our personal lives, a clear divide is becoming evident — between what is just and unjust, righteous and unrighteous, true and false, wise and foolish, good and evil. Life is made of choices, and the choices we make shape our destiny. This is true for both nations and individuals, as every decision carries consequences.
Jesus Christ is Lord — the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. One day, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord of all.Christ our Lord is the light of the world — the living stone laid in Zion. Though He causes many to stumble, all who put their faith in Him shall never be shaken.
As children of God, saved by grace, we are called to fix our eyes on Jesus — the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. He is the only way, the truth, and the life. In Him, whoever believes shall not perish but have eternal life. Let us not fix our eyes on the troubles of this earth but look to the one who reigns above.
Jesus is the everlasting rock. In Him we place our complete trust, knowing that in these days of increasing distress, He remains the Lord of lords, King of kings, and Master of the universe. The Father of lights, the God of all comfort, has entrusted Him with all authority to judge the earth on the day of His return — and that day draws near.
We are called to:
Let us hold firmly to the promises of God, trusting that He who has promised is faithful. At His perfect time, He will accomplish all He has spoken.
Let us cast off every weight and sin that so easily entangles and stand firmly on the Living Stone — our Lord Jesus Christ — the stone rejected by men but chosen and precious to God. He has become the chief cornerstone, and we, as believers, are living stones being built into His spiritual house.
These are times that require unwavering focus, perseverance, and courage. But we are not alone. The Holy Spirit lives within us, guiding and helping us. The Lord is our Shepherd who provides all we need to overcome the world and reach the promised eternal home. So, be strong and courageous. Believe God’s promises:
“I will never leave you nor forsake you; I will help you and uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)
Stay strong in faith. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. The victory is ours.
