Those who put their hope in the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall run and not get weary, they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
“He who overcomes shall inherit all things” (Revelation 21:7).

As children of God, saved by faith, we are called to persevere through the difficulties, challenges, and adversity we face in believing in Christ our Lord and walking by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)—relying on His divine power within us rather than our own limited understanding and strength (Proverbs 3:5–6).

God uses these very trials to build endurance, faith, and love in our hearts, refining us in the fire of afflictions so that our faith may be shown to be more precious and valuable than gold that perishes though refined by fire (1 Peter 1:6–7).

As it is written, “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11).

God comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others with the same comfort we receive from Him (2 Corinthians 1:3–4). He often uses those who have faced great adversity to become witnesses and servants, ministering His Word and encouraging others to put their faith in God alone. By sharing the comfort they have received in their own struggles, they help others draw closer to God and seek Him wholeheartedly—knowing He will never forsake or abandon them (Deuteronomy 31:6; Hebrews 13:5).

He is a loving and compassionate God, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, who does not stay angry forever but relents in His anger and has mercy (Psalm 103:8; Lamentations 3:22–23). He is the Everlasting Rock (Isaiah 26:4), who holds us in His hands, and no one can snatch us out (John 10:28–29), for He is greater than all.

As the psalmist wrote in Psalm 62:11–12: “God has spoken once; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and with You, Lord, is unfailing love; and You reward everyone according to what they have done.”

We pray that we continue to walk in faith, standing firmly on His Word, putting our hope in His Word, and waiting patiently for Him who holds all things He created in His hands. His will be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end—a world without end (Revelation 22:13).

Our only hope is in the Creator of heaven and earth, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Psalm 121:1–2; Ephesians 1:3). As we put our hope in Him and in Christ our Lord, in whom we have been given new birth as a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Peter 1:3), He renews our strength while we face adversity, challenges, and difficulties in our daily lives. So that we mount up with wings as eagles, run our race toward eternity with perseverance and living hope in Jesus our Lord who lives in us (Hebrews 12:1–2). We run and do not grow weary, walk and do not faint (Isaiah 40:31), as we obey His Word.

All who overcome shall overcome by faith and faith alone (1 John 5:4)—in the perfect work of salvation on the cross by His Son, the Lamb of God, who died for the sins of mankind (John 1:29).
