We have a living hope through our faith in Jesus Christ by the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3).

We as believers in Christ have a living hope in Christ that is firm and secure, imperishable, eternal, and immovable—firm and secured in Christ our Lord, now and forever (Hebrews 6:19; 1 Peter 1:4).

We give praise to our God of hope, that He fills us with joy and peace as we put our trust in Him, so that we overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit He has given us (Romans 15:13).

We persevere in hope, knowing that God uses all our troubles, afflictions, oppression, and opposition to build endurance, stronger character, and hope in us (Romans 5:3–5).

We consider it great joy when we face troubles of any kind, knowing that if we persevere and do not give up, we will receive an imperishable crown in heaven while the world chases after perishable crowns (James 1:2–4; 1 Corinthians 9:25; Revelation 2:10).

We consider it great joy when our faith is tested, because we believe and know that our faith, when tested, will prove to be more valuable than silver and gold that perishes in fire (1 Peter 1:6–7).

We continue to rejoice in all our afflictions and troubles, and give thanks in all circumstances, giving thanks and praise to our Lord God Almighty (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18; Philippians 4:4).

We have a living hope in our Lord Jesus Christ—that a bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out (Isaiah 42:3; Matthew 12:20). But He will clear His threshing floor with a winnowing fork and gather the wheat into barns while the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire (Matthew 3:12).

We pray that the God of all hope will enlighten the eyes of our understanding, so that we may know and understand the hope to which we are called as witnesses and humble servants of the Lord, and that we may understand the glorious inheritance He has in the saints and all believers, who have been set apart for the praise of God’s glory.

We pray that, as we are God’s chosen people and a holy nation—rescued from the power of darkness into the kingdom of His Son—for the praise of God's glory, we rejoice in hope as Christ lives in us.

We pray that we  have a mindset that fixes our eyes on things of heaven above and not on the perishable things of this evil world as we look forward in faith to His glorious appearing of our Lord , soon in the glory of the Father.

We pray that as believers in Christ Jesus , our saviour , redeemer and God , that we stand firmly on his  Word, not in our own strength and limited understanding, but by the power of God's Holy Spirit in us, to dwell with Him forever (Ephesians 1:18; 1 Peter 2:9; Colossians 1:13; Philippians 3:20; Titus 2:13).
