"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in Me and I in him will bear much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." (John 15:4-5)

When we open our hearts to Christ, He dwells within us. Since the Son is one with the Father, the Father also makes His home with those who love and obey Christ (John 14:23).

The Apostle Paul wrote:

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

May God grant us the faith to believe His promises, to see the unseen, and to walk by faith rather than by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 11:1, 6).

Christ lives in every believer through faith (Ephesians 3:17)

He has given us the living water of the Holy Spirit, which becomes a spring of water welling up to eternal life (John 4:13-14; John 7:37-39).

Though unseen, God's presence dwells within His people.

As the Apostle John reminds us:

Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world." (1 John 4:4)

Jesus lives in us when we believe His Word and do not give way to doubt or unbelief (John 14:23; Mark 9:23-24).

The Scriptures also declare:

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?" (1 Corinthians 6:19)

Therefore, let us throw off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2).

We are called to follow the Apostle Paul's advice: " To forget what lies behind and press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:13-14).

Christ is with us, and through the Holy Spirit He lives within us. Therefore, let us abide in Him as He abides in the Father (John 15:4-5). Let us trust in the Lord with all our hearts, lean not on our own understanding, acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

May we humbly surrender ourselves so that God may work within us, "for it is God who works in you to will and to act to fulfill His good purpose." (Philippians 2:13)

As Paul concludes:

"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." (Ephesians 3:20-21)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help us to step aside and allow Your Holy Spirit to work powerfully within us. Teach us to abide in Christ, to trust You completely, and to walk by faith each day. May Your will be done in our lives, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). May we bear much fruit for Your glory and remain faithful until the end.

Amen.
